Simple Pan-Fried Fish Recipe

Ingredients

  • Fish (2 pieces, cleaned)

  • Salt (to taste)

  • Red chilli powder (½ tsp)

  • Tumeric powder (¼ tsp)

  • Black pepper (¼ tsp)

  • Lemon juice (1 tbsp)

  • Garlic paste (1 tsp – optional)

  • Oil (2–3 tbsp)


Method

  1. Marinate the fish
    In a bowl, mix salt, chili powder, turmeric, black pepper, lemon juice, and garlic paste.
    Coat the fish well and rest for 15–20 minutes.

  2. Heat the pan
    Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat.

  3. Cook the fish
    Place fish gently in the pan.
    Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.



  4. Serve hot
    Serve with lemon slices, salad, or rice.




     

     


Tips...

  • Don’t flip the fish too early—it may break.

  • For less oil, use a non-stick pan.

  • You can also grilled or bake this marinated fish.
